A New Bridge for New Taipei
In New Taipei, workers are building a bridge. The Tamkang Bridge is over the
Tamsui River. The bridge is where the river meets the sea!
新北市建築工人正在蓋新橋，叫做淡江大橋，它橫跨淡水河，而且就蓋在河流跟大海交會的河口！
The city wants a beautiful bridge for this beautiful place. It wants many
people to visit it. So the city asked a famous architect to plan the bridge.
新北市希望能建一座美麗的橋，吸引大家去拜訪，所以請了有名的建築師來設計。
The bridge will be 450 meters long. It will have a tall tower. The tower will
be 200 meters high! The bridge will also be very strong. It can last 120
years!
這座橋長 450 公尺，橋塔高達 200 公尺，橋的本身也非常堅固，預計可以使用 120
年！
Next year, cars, trains, bicycles, and people can use the bridge! People who
walk or ride bicycles can stop on the bridge. They can watch the sun go down!
預計在明年，汽車、輕軌列車、腳踏車跟行人都能夠上橋，自行車族跟行人還能在橋上停下來欣賞日落！
Tamkang Bridge will be a famous place to visit. How exciting! People will
come from all over Taiwan and the world! They will be able to buy souvenirs
at the bridge's visitor center. There may be New Years' Eve fireworks too!
淡江大橋將成為新地標，也許世界各地的人都會來欣賞，橋的遊客中心會販賣紀念品。未來，這裡還可能成為放跨年煙火的地方！
Many people will visit Tamkang Bridge. It will be Taiwan's new place to go!
