More Electric Scooters Deliver Mail
Electric scooters are great. They are better than gas scooters. Gas scooters
are loud. Electric scooters are quiet. Ah, that sounds so nice!
電動機車比一般燃油車好多了，它們不會發出很大的噪音。
Electric scooters are better for the air. Gas scooters make the air dirty.
Electric scooters don't. Using more electric scooters makes our air cleaner!
電動機車也對空氣比較好，不會像燃油機車汙染空氣，把一般機車換成電動車，會讓空氣變乾淨。
In Taiwan, gas scooters and electric scooters bring us many things. Companies
bring us food orders. And the post office brings us mail.
台灣很多工作需要用到機車，例如外送公司送食物，或是郵差送信。
The post office has about 8,000 scooters. About 3,200 are electric scooters.
郵政總局有大概 8 千台機車，其中 3 千 2 百台是電動機車。
The post office has been buying electric scooters for seven years. In this
year, 2024, it bought 500. It will buy more. It wants to stop using gas
scooters by 2039. All of its scooters will be electric then!
過去 7 年，郵政總局一直在買電動機車，光今年就買了 5 百台，他們希望在 2039
年把所有機車換成電動車。
